Set in 1303 AD medieval India, Padmavati is a story of honour, valour and obsession. Makar Sankranti se celebra con fervor en toda la India, aunque con diferentes nombres y formas. Es considerado como el día más propicio por los hindúes. El festival Makar Sankranti marca el día cuando el sol comienza su viaje hacia el norte y entra en el signo de Makar (Capricornio) del Trópico de Cáncer.
