Padmavaat in Barcelona

Set in 1303 AD medieval India, Padmavati is a story of honour, valour and obsession. Queen Padmavati renowned for her exceptional beauty is the wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh of the Kingdom of Chittor, a prosperous kingdom in the north west of India. The legend of her beauty reaches the reigning sultan of Hindustan – Alauddin Khilji. Que es Makar Sankranti

Makar Sankranti se celebra con fervor en toda la India, aunque con diferentes nombres y formas. Es considerado como el día más propicio por los hindúes. El festival Makar Sankranti marca el día cuando el sol comienza su viaje hacia el norte y entra en el signo de Makar (Capricornio) del Trópico de Cáncer. En otras palabras, el sol se mueve desde Dakshinayana (sur) a Uttarayana (norte). El día cae el 14 de enero de cada año según el calendario solar.
